Today marks the successful completion of the training workshop on "Airline Alliances and Codeshare Participation" organized by the Arab Civil Aviation Organization in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority during the period of April 21-25, 2024, for members of the organization at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority in Muscat Governorate.

This workshop, attended by professionals in air transportation, economic regulation of air transportation, and airline companies, aimed to equip participants with an understanding of alliances, their types, regulations, as well as the concept of codeshare and its various forms, including those relevant to international agreements.

It is worth mentioning that this workshop falls within the framework of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization's role in training and developing human resources in civil aviation authorities, in line with the organization's training plan for the years 2023-2024, which was issued as part of the recommendations of the Air Transport Committee at its forty-seventh meeting.
