Civil Aviation Authority to Organize Civil Aviation Investment Forum

Muscat , 1 October 2026: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will organize the Civil Aviation Investment Forum next Monday, with the participation of a number of government entities, operators, investors, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to showcase investment opportunities and strengthen public-private sector partnerships.

The forum will feature investment opportunities in airport cities, free zones, logistics services, and overseas investment, in addition to emerging technologies and advanced air mobility. It will also explore ways to enhance the investor experience, streamline procedures, and develop national capabilities.

The forum will also feature a panel discussion titled “Investment in the Civil Aviation Sector: Opportunities and Enablers,” which will explore the investor journey from identifying an opportunity to establishing and operating a project, as well as the role of capital, partnerships, and national capabilities in enabling investment in the sector.

The forum is held as part of efforts to support the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy 2040 and enhance the role of the aviation sector in economic diversification and attracting investment, in alignment with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
